Todays Golf Clubs and Golf Balls
Most golf balls on sale today have about 300 - 450 dimples. Did you know only one manufacturer makes a golf ball with an odd number of dimples? The rest of the manufacture evenly numbered dimpled balls. The most dimples on a golf ball are recorded at 1,070. The basics of golf balls is that you need to match the golf ball to your swing.
If the compression of a golf ball does not match your swing speed, either the lack of compression or over-compression will occur, resulting distances not being reached. So if you have a fast swing speed a high compression ball will give a lower loft and reach a greater distance. Most players need a low compression ball to match their style.
